Artist's Statement
My name is Ellen Anderson and I moved to Mazataln
in February of 2005. I was and still am quite taken with the beauty
of this place and the generous hard working people who inhabit
it. After experimenting with a wide variety of creative expressions
I stumbbled upon glass. My work consists of beach glass as well
as stained glass and dicroic glass fused together in a small kiln
on my deck. Each piece is unique and wrapped in copper, gold filled
or sterling silver wire. Various beads or crystals are often added
for a special touch. I will be showing my work the first Friday
of every month at the beautiful Casa de Leyendas located at Venustiano
Corranza 2 & 4 in the Centro Historic district. I can also
